All reservations must be accompanied with a $200.00 per person deposit along with a current IATA/ARC list.(non IATA travel agents must pay supplement). Balance must be received no later than 30 days prior to departure. The following cancellation penalties apply: Up to four weeks prior to departure: $200.00 per person. Less than two weeks or no shows: the full cancellation will be in effect. Administration fee of $100 pp at any time of cancellation. Spouse or traveling companion will be at a supplement of $225.00. Additional charges are: cruise tax: $195.00. Single supplement: $495. Travel insurance is advised. It is the responsibility of all agents to have the proper travel documents. DAY 1 - ATHENS/GREECE
Upon your arrival in Athens, you will be met by ATI Tours who will assist you through customs. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Athens. Rest of the day at leisure to explore this fascinating city on your own. In the evening, you will enjoy a cocktail party and orientation of the hotel.
DAY 2 - ATHENS/GREECE
After breakfast you will be picked up at the hotel to begin your sightseeing tour of Athens. You will visit the House Of Parliament, the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier,the Theater Of Dionysos, Philopappus Hill, the Acropolis, the Erectheum, the Parthenon, the Forum and much more.
CAPE SOUNION
In the afternoon, you will be picked up at the hotel for your excursion to Cape Sounion. Drive along the beaches of Vouliagmeni, Varkiza and Glyfada along the Saronic Gulf to view some of the most breathtaking scenery you will ever see. Arrive in Cape Sounion which is dominated by the spectacular Temple Of Poseidon. Cape Sounion is well noted for its magnificent sunsets.
DAY 3 - ATHENS
After breakfast, you will have a day at leisure. You may wish to take a cable car to the top of Mt. Lycabettus for a magnificent view of Athens and the Acropolis. Take a stroll through Plaka (oldest section in Athens) and visit the Flea Market. Enjoy a swim along the Saronic Gulf or relax in the popular cafes in Constitution Square.You may also wish to take optional tours to such destinations as: Delphi, Argolis, Corinth, Mycenae, Epidaurus or a one day cruise to Aegina, Hydra and Poros.(If interested, please inquire).
DAY 4 - ATHENS/PIRAEUS/CRUISE
After breakfast, you will have the morning free for leisure. Afternoon transfer to Piraeus to board your cruise ship. Set sail for your 7 day cruise.
DAY 5&6 - ISTANBUL
Morning arrival. Known as Constantinopoli, it was once the capital of the Byzantine Empire. Situated at the very point where East meets West, it has been a crossroads metropolis for two thousand years. Optional visitsare available. The city offers such magnificent buildings as the sixth century church of St. Sophia basillica. Other sites to visit are: the Blue Mosque, the Mosque of Sulliman, the Palace of the Sultans, the Toptaki Museum and, of course, the famed Hippodrome Bazzar, where there are over 5000 shops.
DAY 7 - MYKONOS
Afternoon arrival. Called the 'Capri of the Aegean Sea'. It is also called the international Jet Set Island. Mykonos greets you with white washed houses, narrow winding streets and wind mills. It boasts of 365 chapels, one for each day of the year. Enjoy a drink of ouzo at an outdoor taverna for an experience you will never forget.
DAY 8- PATMOS
Morning arrival. An Island of extraordinary beauty. It was here in a cave (Grotto) where St. John the Evangelist wrote the mighty Apocalypse or the Book Of Revelations while in exile. Now the island is dominated by a massive monestary that holds religious and historical treasures. This island is rich in Christian and Biblical history.
KUSADASI(EPHESUS)
Afternoon arrival. This lovely resort is the port of ancient EPHESUS. One of the world's greatest archeological sites. Optional tours available. Visit sites such as the Library Of Celsus, the Magnificent Gate, the Gymnasium Of Vedius, the Thermal Baths Of Scolastika and the Great Amphitheatre. According to legend, Ephesus was built by the Amazons in the year 2000 B.C. Also visit the Temple Of Serapis, the Temple of Artemis (Diana) - one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, the Cathedral of St. John, the Agora and much more.
DAY 9 - RHODES
Morning arrival. Often called the "Island Of Roses". It boasts of magnificent displays of exotic flowers which grow in profusion throughout the entire island. It is the legendary home of the Sun God Apollo. It was here where the huge Colossus once stood. (One of the 7 wonders of the ancient world). Optional tours available: See the the Castle of the Knights Of St. John, the Palace OfThe Grand Masters, the Inn Of The Seven Tongues. Take a tour to the beautiful town of Lindos and see the magnificent Acropolis
DAY 10 - SANTORINI
Morning arrival. Called the "Black Pearl" of the Aegean Sea, Santorini is reputed to be the legendary "Lost City Of Atlantis". Take a donkey ride up the steep cliffs to the dazzling city for a fascinating view of the Aegean Sea. The Town clings to precipitous cliffs overlooking the bay that is the crator to the volcano which erupted in 1500 B.C.
CRETE (HERAKLION)
Afternoon arrival. Here are the treasures of Europe's first civilization. It was 4500 years ago that the Minoans set their roots here. Visit the museum (one of the best in all of Europe). An optional tour takes you to the fabled Palace of King Minos at Knossos which was built 1500 years before Christ. You will be enthralled by the underground corridors of the Labyrinth and the Minoan relics displayed.
DAY 11 PIRAEUS/ATHENS/AIRPORT
After docking in Piraeus, you will have breakfast. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Athens Airport for your flight home.
