#1 - ATHENS CITY SIGHTSEEING

Commence your evening with a drive to the Pnyx Hill from where you will watch the Sound & Light Spectacle. Then, visit a typical Greek Taverna in the Plaka district for dinner, including a floor show.


#2B - SOUND & LIGHT SHOW & GREEK DANCES

The Sound & Light Spectacle is followed by a short drive to the open air Dora Stratou Theatre, where this professional and world renowned folklore troupe will perform for you a selection of dances and songs taken from the very individual and widely distinctive regions of Greece. For each song and dance, the performers will wear the colourful local dress distinctive to the part of the country from which the music originates.


#3 - CAPE SOUNION

Daily Departures - All Year Round (April 1 thru September 30 departs at 3:00pm and returns at 7:00pm / October 1 thru Nov 30 departs 2:30 pm returns 6:30 pm/ Dec 1 thru 31 daily except Sundays departs 2:30 pm returns 6:30 pm )

Driving along the coastal road, past the wonderful beaches of GLYFADA, VOULIAGMENI, VARKIZA and countless coves, one has a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf. A crowning feature of the tour is CAPE SOUNION, dominated by the spectacular TEMPLE OF POSEIDON overlooking the Aegean Sea.
Breathtaking sunsets are a normal site.


#4 - MYCENAE, NAUPLIA& EPIDAURUS

April 3 thru October 31 - every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & / November 1 2001 thru March 30 2002 - every Tuesday, Thursday, saturday & Saturday

Departs at 8:15am and returns around 7:00pm

Drive along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf to the CORINTH CANAL (brief stop). Proceed to
MYCENAE, visit the remains of the ancient city, including the Lioness Gate, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the Palace. Then through ARGOS on to NAUPLIA. After lunch visit EPIDAURUS and it's theatre, famous for it's remarkable acoustics. Return to ATHENS via the Epidaurus/Corinth Road.



#5 - DELPHI

Daily Departures - March 29 - November 15 / November 16 thru March 27, 2002 every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday & Sunday

Departs at 8:15am and returns around 6:30pm



With Lunch - $72USD per person

Drive through LEVADIA and ARACHOVA (famous for it's bright multicoloured carpets). Arrive in DELPHI, the ancient Sanctuary of Apollo. Visit the Museum in which one can see among other archeological treasures, the unique bronze Charioteer, then proceed through the Sacred Way to the Athenian treasury. Visit the Temple of Apollo, the Castalia Spring, etc. Return to ATHENS in the early evening.




Daily Departures - All Year Round

$63 per person

8:00am - transfer by motorcoach from ATHENS to Flisvos Marina and embark on your cruise ship.
8:30am - Sail for the island of HYDRA. In Hydra you have time at leisure for strolling, shopping or swimming. In the early afternoon sail for the island of AEGINA, passing through the narrow straits separating the Peloponnesian coast from the island of POROS. Lunch is served after sailing. Short visit to Poros. Upon arrival in Aegina you can either join the excursion to the Temple of Aphaia (additional cost) or walk around the main town. Finally, embark for the sail back to Athens.
7:15pm - Arrival at Flisvos Marina and transfer to ATHENS.

Please note that in the winter months, the ship returns at 6:00pm.
