CONDITIONS:
All reservations must be accompanied with a $200.00 per person deposit along with airline employee verification. Balance must be received no later than 15 days prior to departure. The following cancellation penalties apply: Four weeks prior to departure: $200.00 per person. Less than two weeks or no shows: the full cancellation will be in effect. Noninterliner traveling companion will be at a same rate. Single supplement at $195.00 Travel insurance is advised. It is the responsibility of all interliners to have the proper travel documents. No visa required for U.S. citizens. Prices subject to change due to $/Euro fluctuations.
DAY 1 - ATHENS/GREECE
Upon your arrival in Athens, you will transfer on your own to the Hotel, where you will check in. Rest of the day at leisure to explore this fascinating city on your own.
DAY 2 - ATHENS/GREECE
After breakfast, you will be picked up at the hotel to begin your sightseeing tour of Athens. You will visit the House Of Parliament, the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier, the Theater Of Dionysos, Philopappus Hill, the Acropolis, the Erectheum, the Parthenon, the Forum and much more.
CAPE SOUNION
In the afternoon, you will be picked up at the hotel for your excursion to Cape Sounion. Drive along the beaches of Vouliagmeni, Varkiza and Glyfada along the Saronic Gulf to view some of the most breathtaking scenery you will ever see. Arrive in Cape Sounion which is dominated by the spectacular Temple Of Poseidon. Cape Sounion is well noted for its magnificent sunsets.
DAY 3 - ANCIENT DELPHI
After breakfast, you will begin your excursion to Delphi. Drive through Thebes, Levadia and Arachova on your way to Delphi. Arrive in Delphi. "Home of The Oracles". Visit the Sanctuary of Apollo, the Athenian Treasury and the Castalia Spring. This is where the future was fortold by the Oracles. See Ossios Lucas and of course the famed statue, "The Chareoteer". You will have lunch in Delphi and return to your hotel in the evening.
DAY 4 - DAY AT LEISURE
Day at leisure. After breakfast, you may take a cable car to the top of Mt. Lycabettus for a fascinating view of Athens and The Acropolis. Take a stroll thru The Flea Market in Plaka, the oldest section in Athens. Enjoy a swim along the Saronic Gulf or relax in the popular cafes in Constitution Square.
DAY 5 - ONE DAY THREE ISLAND CRUISE
After breakfast, you will transfer to Palio Phaliron to board your cruise ship. Set sail for HYDRA and visit the 300 year old Church Of The Dormition Virgin. Here you will have time for strolling, shopping and swimming. In the early afternoon, sail for POROS passing through the narrow strait separating the Peloponnesian Coast from the island of Aegina. Poros, an island with its quaint houses and simple people. A typical island where life is enjyed to its fullest. After Poros, we sail for the magical island of AEGINA. Upon arrival, you may swim or take an optional tour to the Acropolis of ATHENA APHAIA. Return to Athens in the evening and transfer to your hotel.
DAY 6 - ATHENS
After breakfast, you will have the morning and afternoon free. In the evening, you will be transferred to Plaka for your evening on the town. You will be driven through Athens on your way to Pnyx Hill, followed by a short drive to the open air Dora Stratou Theater. You will then be driven to Plaka, a part of Athens where night life never stops. Here you will visit one of the many typical "Greek Tavernas" where you will encounter a variety of Greek performers doing traditional Greek dances with the famous belly dancing show. You will enjoy a typical Greek Dinner with a bottle of Greek wine. The bus will be taking passengers back to the hotel at midnight. Passengers wishing to stay longer will return to the hotel on their own. Plaka and its many Greek night clubs are open till 5 am.
DAY 7 - PIRAEUS/ATHENS/AIRPORT
After breakfast, you will transfer n your own to Athens Airport for your flight home or make other arrangements.
